David commenced his recruitment career 17 years ago with a global PLC; transferring from their London operation to Sydney in 2006. He worked at a senior management level operating across multiple locations and business units, managing a team of 30+ consultants in addition to recruiting mid to senior level positions in construction, infrastructure and MEP markets.
In 2010, he decided to set up on his own and co-founded a technical recruitment consultancy which has been placed on the BRW fast starters list for two consecutive years. In addition to his role as a Director, he specialised in recruiting mid to executive management positions within the MEP sector Asia Pacific-wide.
David successfully exited this business in Feb 2017. In 2014, David launched Archer Recruitment to focus on the rapidly evolving international market.
At Archer Recruitment, David is responsible for the strategic direction of the business globally and maintains an active recruitment role with a particular focus on senior level and retained search mandate within MEP (consultancies and contractors) and High-tech construction such as data centres, pharmaceutical and industrial projects.
