Associate Building Surveyor

We are excited to be exclusively retained by Avison Young to source top professionals for their London Building Consultancy Team. 

Based in their London offices you will work on a variety of professional and project work for investors, lenders, occupiers, developers, and the public sector. Our broad client mix offers opportunities for travel around the UK and Europe and further afield with exposure to a diverse range of property types.
  
They are a dynamic team with a strong social culture, they have a clear pathway for career progression, support internal promotion and success. As part of a full service property consultancy they regularly work with colleagues across investment, planning, development and regeneration and property management, however 70% of their work is generate externally. 

In joining the Building Consultancy team you will enjoy a high quality and diverse range of instructions working with a strong client base.

Duties will include:

• Technical Due Diligence
• Dilapidations
• Planned Preventative
• Project Monitoring
• Contract administration of larger scale projects

We are looking for people with a passion for property, to improve efficiency and exceed our client expectations.  The successful candidate will be confident in leading a team including a portfolio due diligence work and in shaping challenging projects from initial client briefing through to project design, preparation and procurement to contract delivery as well as undertaking consultancy based instructions.  Candidates should be comfortable and confident in client facing situations, and demonstrate a desire to develop new clients or identify networking opportunities.
