Company Overview:

Our client is a leading boutique construction consultancy with a focus on Life Science projects. Our client is embarking on a new venture and establishing an office in Oxford. As part of this expansion, we are seeking an Associate Director of Project Management to join their dynamic team.

Role and Responsibilities:

As the Associate Director of Project Management, you will play a crucial role in the successful delivery of Life Science projects. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Leading and managing projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to quality standards, budgets, and timelines.
  • Collaborating closely with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to develop project plans and strategies.
  • Overseeing project teams and providing guidance and support to junior staff.
  • Conducting regular project reviews, identifying risks, and implementing effective mitigation strategies.
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, codes, and industry best practices.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, fostering a high level of client satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • 5-7 years of experience working on Life Science projects in a construction capacity.
  • Strong knowledge of construction project management principles and practices.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ideally chartered with RICS, CIOB, or APM.
  • Proven track record of delivering successful projects within budget and schedule.
