Our client is a global multi-disciplinary consultancy. With a global coverage coupled with a high level of specialist local expertise, their Singapore office is in an enviable position currently with a strong pipeline of work - includes iconic projects - with high rise commercial building, large infrastructure completed up to date in the region. They are seeking for an Associate Engineer in view of the current hospital project.

Job Description:
  • Managing complex technical solutions and large mechanical projects to achieve operational excellence
  • Work on mechanical projects from the beginning, through conceptual and strategic planning, to thorough design planning, and successfully allocating resources to meet deadlines and budgets.
  • Monitor the accuracy and the outcome of technical projects by leading and managing project teams
  • Determine and put into action ideas for cost control and profit maximization.
  • Accountable for information analysis, design development, tenders, proposals, and technical report writing
  • Assist other disciplines and other design consultants in coordinating quality assurance and commissioning of designs.
  • Responsible for job supervision, planning, monitoring, progress, and reporting on job costs
  • Ensure that your responses to clients' questions about technical issues maximize understanding.
  • Display strong networking, presenting, communication, and consulting abilities.
  • Mentor and encourage younger M&E colleagues
Requirements:
  • Min Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (PEB recognized or UK Chartered Engineer is beneficial)
  • Min 7 years of experience in Building Environment industry with consultancy experience
  • Experience in mission critical projects such as clean room, hospitals, lab, clean room would be highly desired
  • Design and management experience in senior roles for residential, commercial, institutional, or hotel projects
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations, codes of conduct, and submission and approval processes for authorities
  • Familiar and experience in using appropriate engineering software
  • Outstanding delegating and communication abilities that enable you to seek the aid of others to accomplish goals
  • To work in an environment that is customer, team, and delivery-focused
