They work with owners, investors, funders and occupiers, and manage their property portfolios and projects, providing building surveying services which include:
• Coordinating projects using various forms of contract to refurbish, reconfigure or remediate buildings
• Participate in the provision of professional services including dilapidations, Party Wall advice, lease event advice and advice on building defects
• Preparation of technical due diligence reports
• Preparation of building pathology surveys
• Preparing planned preventative maintenance reports.
Person Specification
• Qualified Building Surveyor to MRICS or working towards qualification through APC
• Driven, articulate and ambitious Building Surveyor
• Ability to work independently and to undertake tasks from inception to successful completion
• Driving licence and own transport
• Ability to travel, with a requirement to attend regular site/client meetings
• Good construction terminology knowledge
• Excellent interpersonal skills, team player with ability to work under own initiative, with minimal supervision and strong problem solving skills
The Package
Our client is offering a competitive pack of £40k-£60K (depending on if you are Chartered or not) and benefits include a discretionary bonus of up to 20% (pro rata for first year of employment), 27 days holiday plus bank holiday, 5% employer & employee contributory pension scheme, Life Assurance at 4 x basic salary, car allowance and medical insurance upon completion of probation period.
