We are working with a multi-disciplinary practice that has grown organically and has building surveying at the heart of its business. They are excited to be expanding the team and have a wealth of in-house experience. Our client is offering a long-term opportunity with excellent career progression and a healthy pipeline of work.
The Role
We are searching for a Chartered Building Surveyor to aid projects in both the public and private sectors, across the UK and range from large scale regeneration to smaller one-off projects. This role will give you exposure to a wide variety of services including building surveys, due diligence, feasibility studies, building pathology and party wall advice. Projects also include decarbonisation and fire remediation works which include carrying out surveys, scope of works, desktop surveys, tenders and managing contractors onsite.

You should be confident with contract administration (in particular JCT Minor Works, Intermediate and Design & Build forms), an excellent communicator and have previous consultancy experience. 
The Requirements 
  • Degree or Equivalent in Building Surveying
  • MRICS, FRICS or AssocRICS or aiming to achieve the same
  • Comprehensive knowledge of construction, building pathology
  • Good working knowledge of legal requirements of the built environment
  • Full Clean UK Drivers License
The Benefits
The role offers a £45K-£55K salary plus benefits package.
