Chartered Quantity Surveyor

We are currently working with an independent construction PM & Cost Consultancy based in Weybridge to recruit an experienced Quantity Surveyor to its expert team. The company has been established for over 30 years and work with a predominantly private sector focused client base across high-end residential, commercial, industrial and mixed-use sectors.

You will be joining an experienced team, with excellent career development and mentorship provided. The main duties of the role will include:

Preparation of cost feasibilities, estimates, cost plans, Bills of Quantities, Specifications and Schedule of Rates.
Preparation and administration of Tender documents, negotiating Building Contracts, settlement of Contractor’s claims and settlement of Final Accounts.
To provide information, advice and reports to evaluate risks associated with projects and constantly review project finances in light of risk evaluations.

Candidates for this role should have a RICS-accredited degree in Quantity Surveying or similar, and a minimum of 3 years' experience in a cost consultancy or quantity surveying role. They will ideally be chartered already, but the candidate will also consider candides working towards the APC. They should also have excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong client relationships.

On offer is a salary between £55,000 - 65,000 plus benefits, with excellent opportunity for further career progression. The company has a modern office in Weybridge, flexible working policies, and a sociable team, with regular social events held throughout the year.
