My client is a global Data Center owner that operates across the Asia Pacific Region. They are looking for a Commissioning Manager to join their team in the APAC region. In this role, you will be responsible for establishing and implementing commissioning guidelines and standards for our data center projects, as well as leading the commissioning process on multiple projects.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a standardized commissioning process for all data center projects in the APAC region.
- Ensure compliance with commissioning guidelines and standards.
- Lead the commissioning process on multiple data center projects simultaneously.
- Provide strategic and innovative ideas for improving the commissioning process.
- Oversee and manage the commissioning process throughout all project phases, including design, factory testing, construction, acceptance, and functional performance testing.
- Conduct design and project reviews to ensure quality and timely completion.
- Appoint and manage commissioning agents, contractors, and suppliers.
- Resolve site concerns and coordination issues.
- Deliver comprehensive commissioning reports for each project.
- Lead project closeout and turnover to operations, including the development of operations and maintenance manuals and training.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in data center design, design management, or commissioning management.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to manage relationships across multiple departments.
- Fluent in English with strong communication skills; Mandarin proficiency preferred. (clients and stakeholders are Mandarin Speaking)
- Willingness to travel based on project requirements.
- Knowledge of data center and mission-critical design concepts.
- Knowledge of safety standards requirements.
- Strong technical and working knowledge of mechanical and electrical plants and services that support mission-critical data center environments, including MV and LV distribution switchgear, automatic transfer schemes, standby generators, UPS, chillers, CRACs/CRAHs, ancillary mechanical cooling systems plant, and system automation and monitoring.
