Archer Recruitment is working with a leading UK construction consultancy to recruit a Data Cost Manager in their London head office.
This is a newly created, internal-facing role, working within a large quantity surveying team and reporting directly to a Senior Partner of the business. The company is an industry leader in the use of digital tools to deliver a world class service to it’s clients, and this role will support this further by fully utilising its exceptional data set.
The role will suit an experienced Cost Manager from a PQS or Contractor background at any stage of their career. Initially, the Data Manager will support the launch of a new benchmarking service, and thereafter will develop the cost data that is crucial to the business. They will collate historic contract sums and input data into a prescribed company format.
Candidates for this role will need experience of package procurement, 2-stage tendering, and understanding of Contract Sum Analysis. They will also need to be proficient in Excel, and CostX, Power BI and Microsoft PowerApps experience would be preferable.
The salary will be dependent on experience, as our client is open to candidates at all levels. They have an excellent benefits package including 30 days holiday, private healthcare, enhanced pension and more.
