Our client is a leading real estate development, investment and property management firm and they have key investment portfolios across Asia and are continuing to grow their investment portfolios across these regional markets.
   
There is now a need to hire a highly driven and successful individual to be part of the group treasury team as a senior manager. You will provide support to the group treasury team on financing and hedging requirements for the group of companies which includes the various lines of businesses such as REITs, private funds and new projects.

Responsibilities:
  • You will have full responsibilities in managing borrowing, intercompany funding and cash - timely and accurate settlement of treasury transactions (day-to-day and funding requirements).
  • You will help to review and negotiate financing offers to ensure competitive terms and pricing and execute banking facility documentation.
  • You will review and advise hedging or execution strategies for foreign exchange and interest rate - execution/ settlement/ documentation of hedging derivative transactions.
  • You will also provide support for investment and divestment activities, including funding and capital/profit repatriation.
  • Cash flow budgeting and forecasting.
  • You will develop and maintain relationships with the banks.
  • You will assist to prepare comprehensive treasury updates and deck to the senior management as and when required.
  • You will help to identify and implement process improvement initiatives for treasury processes to drive efficiency.
Requirements:
  
  • You will possess a degree in accountancy / banking / business administration / economics / finance or its equivalent.
  • At least 8-10 years’ relevant treasury working experience, preferably in a corporate organization.
  • To succeed in this role, you should be familiar with money and debt capital markets, loan/ISDA documentation and financial analysis/modelling.
  • Desirable traits that will help you succeed in this role, includes excellent communication skills, proficiency in SAP and MS Office as well as being a good team player.
