Lead/Senior Structural - Infrastructure

Our client is a global leading design and engineering MNC consultancy with strong presence worldwide. They have done numerous iconic projects both in building & civil infrastructure. They are looking for a Lead / Senior Structural Engineer to manage infrastructure projects in Singapore.

Job Description:

Responsible for infrastructure projects such as underground, MRT Stations and Tunnels, from initial design, through to construction and final review.
Working together with other design disciplines, locally and regionally to ensure the integrity of the overall design.
Managing projects or project components, budgets, schedules, quality assurance and client feedback and ensuring effective communication of any changes/modifications.
Assisting in workload management and resource forecasting and involved in preparation of proposal documentation.
Reviewing and ensuring compliance, including drawings, reports, specifications, survey, access, and preparation of appraisals.
Building and maintaining effective relationships with clients, recognizing, and developing potential business opportunities

Requirements:

Min Bachelor’s Degree in Civil & Structural, recognised by PEB (Singapore)
Min 7+ years (Senior), and 15+ years (Lead), within the consultancy environment and at least 5 years of experience working in Singapore
Experience in Infrastructure projects includes underground & MRT stations and tunnels.
Strong project management skills with ability to lead project team members on technical delivery. Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
Sufficient experience to demonstrate intermediate to advanced knowledge of relevant engineering codes, standards, and practices. – Euro Design Codes, Singapore Standards and Codes of Practice, and authority prerequisite
Experience in software tools (not limited to)– SAP200, Tekla Tedds, Prokon
Organised approach and ability to accept increased responsibility and produce accurate and detailed work.
