Archer Recruitment is supporting a leading global agent in Cambridge who is looking to appoint an ambitious Associate Project Manager with a proven track record in successfully delivering Commercial, Education, Leisure and Residential projects.
 
Their consultancy arm offers expert services and solutions to clients across various industries such as new build developments, and industrial, commercial and infrastructure sectors. With a reputation for excellence and a commitment to delivering exceptional results, they strive to provide innovative and tailored solutions to the client’s project management needs.
 
As the Project Manager, you will work within their Life Science, Pharmaceutical and Education team and play a pivotal role in leading and delivering successful projects. Your expertise and experience within the UK consultancy sector will be instrumental in providing exceptional service to clients. This position offers an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to the company’s growth and success.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, budgets, and schedules, ensuring successful execution.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, including architects, contractors, and subcontractors.
  • Monitor project progress, identify and mitigate risks, and report on project status to stakeholders.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Manage multiple aspects of refurbishment and new build projects within the Commercial and Residential sectors.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration across diverse project teams.
Requirements:
  • MRICS or equivalent Professional Qualification (or demonstration of consistent experience of delivering at this level for an extended period)
  • Experience in programming software including; Microsoft Project/Asta PowerProject
  • An in-depth awareness of the design, procurement and construction process
  • An understanding of general business strategic objectives
  • An awareness and understanding of wider industry issues and best practices and their impact on projects
  • High levels of attention to detail
  • Capable of working to strict targets and timescales
  • Capable of communicating effectively and efficiently with colleagues and clients
  • High levels of attention to detail and the ability to independently solve problems
  • Has a positive and considered attitude toward challenging, negotiating and resolving matters within the team
  • Ability to consistently make effective decisions and can support and justify their decisions and actions
  • Operates effectively in a pressurised environment with competing demands and recognises when to assist others
 
Compensation and Package: The base salary for this role is competitive and will range from £65,000 to £80,000 annually, depending on your experience and qualifications.
