Archer Recruitment is currently working with a leading contractor that is looking to appoint a Project Manager in Manchester with a proven track record of delivering high rise schemes with values of more than £40m in value.
You will be required to oversee and deliver 190 one and two-bedroom homes across both the historic mill and a neighbouring new build 10-storey apartment block in Central Manchester.
Minimum Requirements
The client is seeking to appoint an individual who is proven within a Project Manager role and has a track record of delivering larger projects, coupled with a stable employment history gained working for recognised main contractors.
On offer for this Project Manager role is a basic salary of up to £75,000 – £85,000 per annum plus a very attractive package made up of car allowance, health care, pension, and bonus.

Minimum Requirements
- 15 years experience managing multiple residential high-rise schemes (RC Frame and Steel Frame)
- Proven experience in the management of a minimum of two number individual schemes running simultaneously.
- Client Facing experience.
- A clear understanding of the key risks of each project at any one time.
- A Commercial view of construction, including a sound understanding of contract formulation, both Subcontract and Client Contracts, respectively.
- A clear understanding of people management and subcontract management
- You will be contractually aware and possess good technical knowledge. Health & Safety will be one of your key priorities and you will demonstrate the ability to offer strong guidance to Site and Project Managers as and when required.
