We are currently assisting our client, a reputable SME-sized construction consultancy with a focus on Data Centre projects, in their search for an experienced Project Manager to join their dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a high-profile new build Data Centre project located in London.

Position Overview:
As a Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the construction of a state-of-the-art Data Centre facility. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of Construction Project Management, with a significant portion of that experience within Data Centre projects. You will be responsible for managing the construction and pre-construction phases across three of the four buildings in this project, each at different RIBA stages.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the project team to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Manage the construction process, ensuring it adheres to budget, timeline, and quality standards.
  • Oversee site operations, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets.
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, and stakeholders to provide regular project updates.
  • Mitigate risks and resolve project issues promptly.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships.
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • 4-5 years of Construction Project Management experience.
  • Significant experience in Data Centre construction projects.
  • Good knowledge of the construction and pre-construction phases.
  • Professional membership such as MAPM, MCIOB, or MRICS is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Flexibility to work on-site and from the central London office as needed.
