We are assisting a leading international Cost Management consultancy to hire an Associate Director / Director (dependent on experience level).
This is a senior level role for a dynamic individual with the ability tackle challenges head-on and ensure successful outcomes.
It is expected that the successful applicant will progress towards a role within the senior leadership team with Singapore/Asia.
You will initially be based on-site at a major data centre development project in Singapore and should also demonstrate enthusiasm and flexibility to work on other future projects in Asia (likely to focus on mission critical and high-tech manufacturing developments).

This is a senior level role for a dynamic individual with the ability tackle challenges head-on and ensure successful outcomes.
It is expected that the successful applicant will progress towards a role within the senior leadership team with Singapore/Asia.
You will initially be based on-site at a major data centre development project in Singapore and should also demonstrate enthusiasm and flexibility to work on other future projects in Asia (likely to focus on mission critical and high-tech manufacturing developments).
Some responsibilities of the role will include:
- Providing commercial expertise across procurement and contracts issues, primarily in relation to mission critical construction projects;
- Overseeing contract and payments administration for sub-contractors and vendors;
- Monitoring project cash flows;
- Communicating effectively with stakeholders at all levels - including possible interfacing across multiple locations;
- Proactively ensuring a time-efficient handover of the finished project to the client.
- A recognised bachelors Degree (as a minimum) in Quantity Surveying;
- Minimum 12 years relevant cost management experience;
- Proven leadership experience in a Commercial Manager role;
- Significant experience of working on major buildings construction projects either within a Main-Contractor or a Cost Management Consultancy business;
- Excellent communication skills;
- Chartered status (e.g. MRICS) would be an advantage
