Archer Recruitment are currently working with a leading global construction and consultancy firm working across all sectors of the built environment. Our client has an excellent reputation and work on some of London’s most iconic construction projects.
 
The Role

The Senior Cost Manager will beA working on Cat A and B office fit out projects across the EMEA region for blue-chip clients within the financial services industry. Some duties of the role will include:
  • Conducting feasibility studies and benchmarking
  • Manage estimating and cost planning activities and take ownership of presenting the final cost plan
  • Managing the procurement process at all stages including pre-qualification, enquiry, analysis, selection and contract preparation
  • Ensuring that cost checking and valuation work is managed effectively
  • Ensuring that final accounts are negotiated and agreed
The Requirements
  • A degree in quantity surveying/cost management or equivalent
  • MRICS qualified
  • Previous experience in a cost consultancy undertaking a similar role, ideally working on office fit-out projects
  • Experienced in the use of excel including sortation formulas, pivot tables, graphs, etc
