Archer Recruitment is working with a well-known international construction consultancy to recruit a Senior Quantity Surveyor with MEP experience, working within the wider cost management team on projects in the Middle East region.

Some of the key duties include:

Preparation of cost plans, estimates and presentation documents from inception and feasibility stages onwards.
Presenting these to clients, explaining and agreeing approaches to issues around project risks etc.
Leading procurement activities and formation of contracts
Acting in the role of contract administrator
Undertaking the procurement of projects, and the preparation of tender documentation
Managing work packages post-contract including change control and valuation, progress valuations, cost reports and final accounts.
Providing concise and focused cost advice and reporting to clients.
Conducting tender analysis for the purpose of contractor appointments and data capture for benchmarking and future cost plans.

Candidates should be MRICS with strong technical MEP / M&E delivery experience in the construction industry, ideally from a consultancy. They should have strong communication skills and the ability to perform well in a client facing role. Middle East experience is also preferred.
