Senior Quantity Surveyor / Employer's Agent

This independent consultancy works with housing associations, local authorities and residential developers on major new build projects, and are looking to appoint a Senior Quantity Surveyor / Employer’s Agent to its successful London team.

Working alongside an experienced team, you will fulfil the role of EA and QS to the end client, taking projects from inception to completion. Key duties will include:

• Creating & administering a range of JCT contracts.
• Chairing & minuting regular site meetings.
• Analysis of progress and writing detailed reports.
• Advising on a range of planning, legal and contractual issues.
• Conducting interim valuations and cost appraisals.
• Analysing key contract documents whilst highlighting any potential risks.  

Candidates for this role will have previous consultancy experience in the residential sector with a background in quantity surveying. They will ideally be MRICS or MCIOB chartered. Candidates should also have excellent communication skills with the ability to develop strong client relationships and negotiate with multiple stakeholders.
