Are you an experienced Risk Manager seeking an exciting opportunity within a reputable SME construction consultancy? We are currently searching for a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our esteemed client's Programme Management team as a Senior or Associate Risk Manager. Based near Tower Bridge, our client specialises in Healthcare and Life Science projects and is at the forefront of transforming environments for clients in these sectors.


As a Senior/Associate Risk Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful delivery of capital projects within the healthcare, science, and related domains. Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Implementing effective risk management strategies across projects within the Healthcare and Life Science portfolio.
  • Engaging with clients to understand their needs and assess risk exposure, providing tailored risk management solutions.
  • Utilising QRA software, such as Primavera Risk Analysis, to conduct thorough risk assessments and analysis.
  • Collaborating closely with project teams and key stakeholders to identify, mitigate, and manage risks.
  • Demonstrating strong client-facing skills and the ability to communicate complex risk concepts effectively.
  • Contributing to risk mitigation methodologies and techniques, ensuring best practices are upheld.
  • Providing expert advice on risk management, project controls, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Proven experience as a Risk Manager or within project controls on capital projects, preferably in the healthcare, life science, or related sectors.
  • Proficiency in using QRA software, such as Primavera Risk Analysis or similar.
  • Adept in risk mitigation methodologies and techniques, ensuring effective risk management throughout project lifecycles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective client engagement.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, coupled with attention to detail.
  • Program management qualifications or relevant certifications (e.g., IRM, MoR, PRINCE2) will be advantageous.

The successful candidate can expect a highly competitive salary ranging from £53,000 to £78,000, depending on experience and qualifications. Additionally, our client offers an attractive benefits package, including but not limited to:
