Job Description:
- Design and planning of water & coastal projects
- Participate and conduct studies
- Design or review work on coastal projects such as (not limited to) - coastal land reclamation, shoreline restoration, soil improvement works, and coastal protection works.
- Perform the projects/tasks within the agreed budget and programme
- Client liaising and presentation of proposal
- Attending meetings that involves both internal and external stakeholders
- Monitor progress and report progressively
- Min bachelor’s degree or Masters (Hons) Civil or Environmental Engineering
- Min 5 years (Senior) and 8years (Principal) of experience in planning, design and/or implementation of coastal, marine, reclamation infrastructure projects
- PE or UK Chartered Engineer will be highly valued.
- Familiar with Eurocodes/BS 6349/CIRIA Guidelines
- Knowledge of coastal engineering such as(not limited to) tide, current, waves, tidal and storm surge barriers
- Experience working in multidisciplinary coastal projects
- Experience in client liaising and leading meetings
- Excellent interpersonal, good written and verbal communication skills.
- Have good knowledge of common design software.
- Good project and time management skills, and strong analytical skills.
- Team player and able to work independently.
- Ability to work well under pressure and tight timeline.
