Senior/Principal MEP Engineer (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing)

Our client is an international engineering consultancy group seeking to add experienced Mechanical and Electrical Engineers to their team in Hong Kong.
Working in a highly collaborative multi-disciplinary team, you’ll help to provide engineering consulting services across a range of buildings projects e.g. data centres, hotels, hospitals, schools, workplaces, industrial facilities, and mixed-used developments.

Candidates should have proven experience in the design of MEP systems, including:
  • Air Conditioning and Mechanical Ventilation (ACMV)
  • Fire Protection Systems (FPS)
  • Plumbing and Drainage Systems
  • Buildings Management Systems (BMS) and Automation Controls
Technical experience should include:
  • Detailed system designs
  • Design calculations
  • Design coordination
  • Preparing tender packages
  • Construction Project Management
  • Testing and Commissioning
  • Site surveying
Other requirements:
  • Minimum of Bachelors degree (BEng) in Mechanical/Electrical engineering (a Masters degree (Meng) would be an advantage)
  • Must be fluent in English (Cantonese and other Asian-language skills are also an asset)
Additional ideal experience:
  • Experience with Parametric Modelling Techniques (e.g. Grasshopper, Dynamo)
  • Knowledge of programming languages (e.g. Python, C#, VB)
  • Understanding of Engineering Optimisation Techniques
