My client is a leading consultancy firm that provides sustainable design and engineering solutions for the built environment. They are well established in the market and has worked on a wide range of projects globally, including residential, commercial, and cultural buildings. They are looking for a Sustainability Engineer to join their growing team in Singapore.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conducting energy audits and environmental impact assessments on existing buildings, and providing recommendations for improvement
  • Developing sustainable design strategies for new buildings, including energy efficiency, water conservation, and waste reduction
  • Conducting research on emerging sustainable technologies and materials for building construction
  • Collaborating with architects, engineers, and construction teams to ensure sustainable design and construction practices are implemented
  • Providing technical expertise on sustainable building codes and standards
  • Developing and implementing sustainability programs for building occupants, such as energy and water conservation initiatives
  • Monitoring and reporting on sustainability metrics for buildings and facilities
  • Providing sustainability education and training to building occupants and staff
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Architecture, sustainability, environmental science, or a related field
  • 1-3 years of experience in sustainable design and engineering in the built environment
  • Certification experience in either (or several) - Greenmark / LEED/ BREEAM / EDGE
  • Knowledge of sustainable design principles, Thermal modelling, with IES or equivalent and building codes and standards
  • Experience conducting energy audits and environmental impact assessments
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
